If you follow us, you know that we specialize in working with dance studios, but we’ve also had the opportunity to support a variety of other businesses along the way. Our recent fitness website design project for Bextreme Fitness, a gym based in Missouri, was such a fun one to bring to life. Ashlee Blankenship pours her heart and soul into her business, and her new website was the next step for continued growth.
Ashlee’s old website was out of date and didn’t reflect the gym’s current offerings. As the business has gotten more established in the community, the website needed to reflect the change. Our main goals for the project were to define a clear customer journey, embed the gym’s weekly class schedule, and capture more new leads for the business.
Now Ashlee has a vibrant site designed to turn visitors into leads and keep current members in the loop. Her updated website reflects the heart of the gym and plays a key role in growing her fitness community.

Before
Bextreme’s homepage was cluttered with too much copy. Key offerings like class schedules, training options, and open gym access were buried or unclear, making it difficult for potential clients to take action or understand what made the gym unique. The graphics, colors, and fonts didn’t pop or give a vibrant first impression.
After
The new homepage is a dynamic, lead-generating platform that reflects the energy and community of the gym. The gym’s offerings are easy to find and the site includes bold buttons to help customers click their way to the class schedule or membership portal. It highlights the gym’s core values, answers FAQs, and includes client testimonials. The bright visuals and modern layout have completely transformed the site!
Unique Project Features
After learning about Ashlee’s offerings and limitations on her current site, we got to work on a brand new website!
Here are few unique project features:
- Embedded Class Schedule | We integrated a live class schedule directly into the site so members and prospects can view weekly offerings at a glance. By simply clicking on their desired class, clients are brought to the booking portal where they can reserve their spot and purchase memberships.
- NEW Free Trial Week Opt-In | A brand-new opt-in form invites visitors to claim a free trial week, making it easy for curious locals to take the first step toward membership. We strategically placed this call to action on the menu bar and sprinkled it throughout the site to turn casual browsers into warm leads.
- Updated Photos & Focus On Inclusivity | Ashlee wanted the new site to reflect the inclusive community she’s built. Her photos and the language used throughout the site reinforce the idea that everyone is welcome! Her classes are perfect for all fitness levels.
- Testimonials | To highlight the impact of the gym, we showcased powerful testimonials from current members. Their stories and photos inspire potential clients by showing real results and transformation.
- SEO Optimized Copy | Using our templates, Ashlee helped us rewrite the copy with SEO best practices in mind. The new text improves visibility in local search results.
