FAQS
What is the payment schedule?
50% of the project fee is required to secure your start date. The remaining balance is due before launch. Payment plans are available by request.
What platform will my website be built on?
Resourceful Dance designs both WordPress and Squarespace websites for dance studios. We will discuss both platforms on your discovery call and make a recommendation based on your needs. WordPress design projects require an ongoing support package after launch (support packages start at $80/month).
What do I need before we get started?
Access to high-resolution photos of your students, your facility, your performances, and your staff is highly recommended. We WILL provide detailed guidelines! Many of our web design clients plan in-studio photo shoots before we get started.
You also need access to your domain registrar so that at launch, we can point your domain to your new hosting account. Sometimes, locating the owner (and maybe the password!) of your domain can take a little digging.
Finally, we recommend that you have time set aside to work on the project. You will have to provide materials before your kick-off call and be ready to provide feedback during the revision periods. We have a very streamlined process, but we still need your participation for the project to be successful.
What is the timeline?
Most dance studio website projects are 4 weeks from the project start date to launch. After paying your deposit, you will schedule your project start date. Project start dates are subject to our current availability.
Can you help with the copywriting on my website?
Our clients receive a copywriting guide that takes them through our framework for generating strategy-rich and SEO-optimized writing for your website. We understand that writing can be very time-consuming and stressful. You also have the option of adding copywriting to your project and letting our team take it off your plate.
What's basic branding?
Basic branding includes colors, fonts, and core messaging. If you need a logo or more extensive messaging work, we can talk through your options on our discovery call.
Who are your website design services for?
Our website design services are ideal for dance studio owners who understand the value of having an updated, easy-to-navigate, and modern website. They want to provide the best customer experience for their dance families. Most of our clients have 150+ students and are actively wanting to grow their programs.
Can I integrate my dance studio software?
Yes! We are familiar with most dance studio software (Dance Studio Pro, JackRabbit, Mindbody, Sawyer) and stay current on what their integration options are. Software and marketing integration (Facebook Pixels, Google Tracking) are included in our project fees.
What kind of results can I expect?
While we can't speak to your specific situation, most of our web design clients see an increase in inquiries and online registrations quickly after launch. Your current families will notice the upgrade almost immediately!
